TERRITORIO. Video installation. A 3m x 2m projection.

There is an inversion in the space. The figure of a man after a transparent but not net surface. The movement, the movement in the confinement. The beast. An immaculate space protected by one out. One out observer who is converted into spectator of a man into frantic movement. In turn the image of this man gets confused with his shade. And we do not know, we are not interested in knowing if it is a question then of a concrete figure or only a projection of this one. A projection of a projection. There is a double investment. In the moment of the record below(down) it is above(up) and vice versa. And again vice versa in the moment of the projection. This kind of hole in the floor generates certain worry(restlessness). This so clear image, which relaxes so little its intention (the projected image is monochromatic) invites to questioning, to generating worry(restlessness) in a space that one presents like established. Where there is one it(he,she) arrives, one below(down) and a line of horizon. The sound track, in turn, provokes strangeness. Guttural expressions mend us to the idea of the locked up beast. There is fury and at the same time passiveness. And if it is not the image, it is the sound that is going to shake our senses. And it is going to worry us on all the things.
