Presentada en el marco de la exposición Seeing through Stone en el San José Museum of Art, esta performance se despliega como un poderoso testimonio de resiliencia colectiva y de construcción de un mundo abolicionista. Al transformar el espacio de la galería en un sitio vivo de resistencia, la obra desmantela los muros invisibles del sistema carcelario, involucrando al público no como meros espectadores pasivos, sino como testigos de un llamado urgente a la libertad. A través de movimientos corporales deliberados y evocadores, junto a una atmósfera profundamente resonante, la pieza encarna esos 'ojos secretos' necesarios para imaginar un futuro más allá de las jaulas, tejiendo una profunda narrativa de solidaridad e imaginación radical.

A Long Line of Strong Women (Weaving through Time) [Una larga línea de mujeres fuertes (Tejiendo a través del tiempo) ] es una propuesta de performance concebida por Gabriela Golder en colaboración con mujeres de la región cuyas vidas han sido impactadas por el sistema carcelario global. Construida a lo largo de un mes mediante una serie de conversaciones compartidas, encuentros y archivos personales, la performance entrelaza momentos de confinamiento, resistencia y solidaridad.

A Long Line of Strong Women (Weaving through Time) is a performance proposal conceived by Gabriela Golder in collaboration with women living in the region who have been impacted by the global carceral system. Built through a series of shared conversations, meetings, and personal archives over the course of a month, the performance weaves together moments of confinement, resistance, and solidarity.
